Also known as TPC6A_HUMAN, TRAPPC6A. May play a role in vesicular transport during the biogenesis of melanosomes. Part of the multisubunit transport protein particle (TRAPP) complex. Heterodimer with TRAPPC3 (PubMed:16828797, PubMed:16262728). The heterodimer TRAPPC3-TRAPPC6A interacts with TRAPPC2L. Interacts with TRAPPC2L (PubMed:19416478).
