Also known as LHA4_RHOAC, LHA4. Antenna complexes are light-harvesting systems, which transfer the excitation energy to the reaction centers. The core complex is formed by 9 alpha and 9 beta chains that bind bacteriochlorophyll and carotenoid molecules, and is disposed around the reaction center. The non-pigmented gamma chains may constitute additional components (By similarity).
