DESCRIPTION

Also known as DPEP3_HUMAN, DPEP3. Dipeptidase that hydrolyzes cystinyl-bis-glycine. Does not hydrolyze leukotriene D4 (LTD4) into leukotriene E4 (LTE4). Homodimer; disulfide-linked (By similarity). Interacts with TEX101; co-localized on the cell surface of spermatocytes, spermatids, and testicular spermatozoa, co-localized only in cytoplasmic droplets of caput and corpus epididymal sperm (By similarity).
