Also known as GA2PE_DROME, pigs. Essential for development and viability. Required for ovary development and oogenesis, and is essential for the development of the indirect flight muscles. May act as a negative regulator of the Notch signaling pathway in certain tissues, such as the muscle precursors and ovaries. May function as a linker protein between the actin and microtubule cytoskeletons.
