Also known as RFIP1_HUMAN, RAB11FIP1, RCP. A Rab11 effector protein involved in the endosomal recycling process. Also involved in controlling membrane trafficking along the phagocytic pathway and in phagocytosis. Homooligomer (isoform 2). Isoform 2 interacts with RAB4A, RAB11A, RAB11B and RAB25. According to PubMed:15280022, RAB4A binding to RAB11FIP1 is of very low affinity in vitro and in vivo.
