Also known as MAST1_HUMAN, MAST1, KIAA0973, SAST. Microtubule-associated protein essential for correct brain development (PubMed:30449657). Appears to link the dystrophin/utrophin network with microtubule filaments via the syntrophins. Phosphorylation of DMD or UTRN may modulate their affinities for associated proteins (By similarity). Interacts with the microtubules. Part of a low affinity complex that associates with, but is distinct from, the postsynaptic density. Interacts with SNTB2.
